Admission Procedures
I. Inquiry & Application
Applicants can inquire in the International Students’ Admission Office in College of International Cultural Exchange (CICE) in person or by e-mail hainu@admissions.cn. Applicants should submit the required documents according to the program you are applying for within the required time.
II. Qualification Verification
On receiving the application and required materials, International Students’ Admission Office will issue the Letter of Admission and then send the admission package enclosing Letter of Admission, Notice for Freshmen at Hainan University, and Visa application form for Study in China (JW202) by registered letter to successful applicants. It takes about one month to process JW202.
III. Visa Application
Admitted students should take the Letter of Admission and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) to the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their country to apply.
IV. Registration
Admitted students should register at HNU within the registration period mentioned in the Letter of Admission. Exception can be made to students who have informed the College of their special reasons and have been granted permission for delay.
